Botox for Migraines

Botox has emerged as a powerful tool in the fight against chronic migraines.

How Botox Works

Botox is injected into specific areas of the head and neck to block the release of chemicals involved in pain transmission. This helps to prevent the onset of migraines before they start.

Treatment Process

Botox treatments are typically administered every 12 weeks and involve a series of small injections. The procedure is quick, minimally invasive, and can be done in our clinic.

Results

Many patients experience a significant reduction in the frequency and intensity of their migraines after starting Botox treatment. For some, it has been life-changing, allowing them to return to their daily activities without the constant worry of a migraine attack.

Patient Information - Botox Right for You?

Botox is generally recommended for adults who suffer from chronic migraines (15 or more headache days per month). Our doctors will assess your medical history and symptoms to determine if Botox is a suitable option.

What to Expect:

During your initial consultation, we will discuss your migraine history, previous treatments, and goals. If Botox is recommended, we will guide you through the process and answer any questions you may have.

Aftercare:

Botox treatment is usually well-tolerated with minimal side effects. Some patients may experience mild discomfort or bruising at the injection sites, which typically resolves quickly. Follow-up appointments will be scheduled to monitor your progress and adjust treatment as needed.
