Christal moved to Canada from the Philippines in 2013, where she completed undergraduate studies in BS Human Biology. She later earned her Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) diploma from Bow Valley College, graduating in 2017.

With over five years of experience, Christal has assisted physicians and surgeons in Ophthalmology, Family Medicine, Gynecology, Colorectal, and General Surgery. She is skilled in minor surgical procedures, clinical assessments, referrals, instrument sterilization, and patient coordination. She also has experience in clinic management, training staff and students while refining her communication and leadership skills.

In February 2025, Christal joined The Smart Clinic, where she is responsible for patient history-taking and pre-consultation assessments. She is dedicated to providing quality care, fostering strong patient relationships, and ensuring seamless communication between patients and healthcare teams.

Outside of work, Christal enjoys cooking, traveling, and collecting butterfly-themed art but cherishes family time the most.
